A Data Request Form must be completed to access SilvaLab remote sensing data, including terrestrial laser scanning records. Applicants must agree to these terms and conditions.

Request research access or explore the campaigns.
Research use requires a completed request describing the proposed work. For visualization-only access, agree to the terms below and use the phrase shown with the campaign downloads.

Access is granted for defined scientific uses and depends on responsible stewardship, attribution and communication with SilvaLab.
Non-transferability
Investigators may not share SilvaLab remote sensing data, including terrestrial laser scanning records with parties who are not included on the approved Data Request Form.
Citation
Any publication using these data should cite: Silva, C.A. Remote sensing datasets and products. Accessed on [date].
Copies of articles
Manuscripts should be sent to PI Carlos Silva at c.silva@ufl.edu before submission. After publication, the PDF and supplementary documents should also be provided.
Limitation of use
The data may be used only for the projects and analyses described in the request. A new request is required for a new use. The data may not be sold, used for commercial gain or uploaded to a website or journal archive.
Data version
Publications must state the specific dataset version used in the analysis. The version number is provided after a request is approved.
Authorship
Maintaining and collecting remote sensing data requires substantial field effort and ongoing financial commitment. The principal investigators should be included as co-authors when they provide local expertise and constructive scientific feedback.
Acknowledgements
Publications must acknowledge the institutions and funding that enabled data collection. Contact PI Carlos Silva for the appropriate wording.
